Product description

Waterproof and weatherproof: with the Blumfeldt Beach Basket Hood, the Hiddensee beach basket from Blumfeldt remains clean and dry in all weather conditions. The weather protection cover is pulled over the beach basket and provides it with additional protection against rain, wind or snow. The lightweight, but highly resistant 600x300D Oxford polyester fabric hood has two air pockets on both sides for air circulation to allow the user to stay cool under the closed cover. To prevent penetration of water, the protective cover is sewn waterproof.

The velcro closures on the front flap can be operated from the inside and outside, so that in case of sudden summer storms you find shelter under the rain hood. The front flap can be rolled up and can be tied up with fastening straps to soak up the sun again. Additionally, it has a fastening strap with which it can be converted into a canopy.

The Blumfeldt  Beach Basket Hood is suitable for all beach baskets up to a size of 115 x 160 x 90 cm (WxHxD).

Please note that the beach basket as well as the canopy poles are not included in the delivery.

A good, sturdy cover for my new strandkorb. The front flap has side Velcro openings so that the whole thing does not have to be removed to use the strandkorb.

I have always wanted a strandkorb and bought this following a holiday on the Baltic coast where they are a common sight. It is comfortable and much admired by friends and neighbours. It arrived quickly but the packaging was rather flimsy and the paintwork was slightly damaged, but nothing too serious. An extravagant purchase but fun, and worth every penny! It took around 2 hours to erect and it wasn't difficult to follow the pictorial instructions. Unfortunately the "cuddle cushions" were missing so I emailed Electronic Star who replied straight away that they would sort it out in a few days. They did, but were unable to supply the cushions so gave us a refund to cover the cost of replacements. I was very impressed with their service. I also ordered a cover for it, as I don't know how it would withstand a wet and snowy British winter.

Die Schutzhülle ist robust, sieht gut aus und der Vorteil ist, dass man bei schlechtem Wetter die Hülle über den Strandkorb zieht und das Vorderteil aufrollt und oben mit dem Klettverschluss festklemmt und doppelt geschützt darin sitzen kann. Auch die Belüftungsöffnungen an der Seite sind ideal. Unser Fazit: ein perfekter Kauf, zumal wir in der Farbe blau nichts Gleichartiges gefunden haben.

The cover is robust, looks good, and the advantage is that in bad weather you can pull the cover over the beach chair, roll up the front, and secure it at the top with the Velcro fastener, providing double protection while sitting inside. The ventilation openings on the side are also ideal. Our conclusion: a perfect purchase, especially since we couldn't find anything similar in blue.

Der Strandkorbbezug ist qualitativ sehr gut in Passform , Materialqualitat und Verarbeitung.Die Farbe ist ebenfalls ein sattes Blau und sehr ansprechend .Das einzige was etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist ,ist das der Verschluss vorne nicht durch Reissverschlüsse sondern durch Klettverschluss zu schliessen ist, istetwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

The beach chair cover is of very good quality in terms of fit, material, and workmanship. The color is also a rich blue and very appealing. The only thing that takes some getting used to is that the front closure is not a zipper but a Velcro fastener; that takes a little getting used to.

Der Strandkorb sieht sehr schön aus, original wie die am Meer. Die Montage ist relativ einfach, braucht aber Zeit und eine zweite Person. Das Montagezubehör liegt bei, man benötigt nur noch einen Schraubendreher.Der Strandkorb ist schön bequem und lässt sich in 5 Stufen verstellen, man kann sogar darin liegen. Für Getränke gibt es zwei kleine Tische zum Ausklappen. Leichte Regenschauer und Wind hält er gut ab, und ist ein schöner Hingucker im Garten.

The beach chair looks very nice, just like the ones at the seaside. Assembly is relatively easy, but it does take time and a second person. The assembly hardware is included; you only need a screwdriver. The beach chair is very comfortable and can be adjusted to five different positions; you can even lie down in it. There are two small fold-out tables for drinks. It offers good protection from light rain and wind and is a real eye-catcher in the garden.
